Music Cures Cancer was founded in 2014 by Lee Craft after watching his father beat cancer in 2012 and witnessing the effects of the disease on not only patients, but also their families and communities. With a background in the music industry as a graphic artist, live mixer, and stagehand, Lee received encouragement from well-respected individuals in the entertainment industry to use his talents to make a difference.
Determined to make an impact in the fight against cancer, Lee knew he had to do it in the most Nashville way possible – through music. By combining his passion for music and desire to make a difference, Music Cures Cancer was born. Our mission is to raise awareness and funds for cancer research through the power of music, handcrafting events that bring together talented musicians and communities.
